Ask the doctor or nurse carrying out the test how long the result will take to come through. On, but not before, that date you can use either contact us via Online Services the NHS App which also now allows you to view your records, or Patient Access to directly see your test results. Alternatively you can either ring and speak to a call navigator or call into the surgery who will be able to give you a message from the doctor who has checked the result.
In line with our strict policies regarding confidentiality and data protection we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.
