Patient Participation Group

Our Patient Participation Group

A small group of Church Street Surgery patients (Our PPG) meet at least quarterly with a Doctor from the surgery and the Site Manager. (During the Covid19 Pandemic our meetings have been very successfully held via Zoom) We discuss any topics concerning services and facilities for patients provided by the surgery that are felt to be relevant at the time. These may include topics that are in the national or local news, that are relevant to Church Street Surgery and their patients. Patient survey results and Care Quality Commission reports (see reports here) are also discussed in general terms.

The two-way exchange of views and ideas benefits both patients and staff and helps all to understand how services work and how they might be improved upon if necessary. However, Our PPG does not deal with individual concerns or complaints that patients may wish to raise privately with the Site Manager.

All comments and views are welcomed. Comments or suggestions can be submitted online here. We also have a Comments box in the front entrance. Whatever patients submit will be dealt with in the strictest confidence. In addition, we encourage patients to visit the surgery Facebook page here where regular updates on services and news can be found.

We strive for diversity within Our PPG and are always ready to welcome new members. A representative of Our PPG liaises with our parent group Wyre Forest Health Partnership. (WFHP)
