Patients wishing to be seen on the same day need to ring (Appointments - 01562 745040), and your contact details will be taken. You will then be phoned to assess your problem. If an appointment is needed you will be offered one with a Nurse Practitioner, Doctor or Practice Nurse.
This system has been introduced to improve the care given to our patients. Patients are always seen on the same day if this is essential.
This may not be with your Doctor of choice, but will be with either a Doctor or Nurse Practitioner.
WE DO NOT OFFER A DROP IN SERVICE AND DOING SO WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT IS DISCOURAGED
People who “drop in” will be assessed by a nurse in the same way, when time allows. If their problem is not life threatening they will be advised to come back when the next appropriate appointment is available. This inconvenience would be prevented by ringing first.
